Are you suppose to run the ground from the negative ground post back or do you grond it to the chassis in the back? I'm confused I read at one web site yes and at another web site they say know. Guest SyKo13 Posted November 26, 2006 Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 Depends where the ground is coming out of, if it's coming out of the battery you ground it to the chassis If it's coming out of an amp, well you do the same if you want. So this is really confusing. He has a ground coming from the battery under his hood to the ground of the batteries in the back. And ANOTHER ground coming from the alternator bracket going to the ground of the batteries in the back. 2 runs of grounds. This is not necessary but to make it more interesting, you CAN STILL run another ground from the batteries in the back to the chassis-doesn't matter.
