box for dc level 4 18

Hey. I'm about to purchase a dc lvl 4 18. I noticed the qts is .7. this is making me lean towards a sealed enclosure. anyone have any input? i see a lot of them in ported boxes, even with the high qts.

i searched dc level 4 enclosure, dc level 4 box and dc level 4 on the search bar and came up with nothing. so i asked. why is it when someone asks for a sundown x 15 enclosure they get all the help they need

Bullshit. There are so many level 4 builds its ridiculous. Not to mention you've been around long enough to know ported is better than sealed.

I know ported is better than sealed. But i also thought that a high qts would lend to better performance in sealed. that was one of my original questions and was what led me to ask this question because all of the builds that i spent time looking through used ported boxes. this confused me and i wanted some more info from someone who has used this sub and other 18's that are relevant. All the builds i've spent hours finding, then scrolling through pages of forum have multiple 18s. I've never even used an 18 before. also, space may be an issue which is why i was considering sealed. but fuck me right... i guess im supposed to spend the next 2 years of my life reading through countless pages of builds that don't really relate to mine, and then try to make a bunch of assumptions on box design and nail it the first time.

You should at least know if an 18 in a ported box will fit. Sorry man, but you've made some retarded threads and have been given the benefit of the doubt.

you're right. i forgot the point of this forum was to judge people for asking a few dumb questions and then refuse to help them when they're trying to get better.
