gckless
Alright. So I decided on the 12" Passive Radiator. Now I don't know what subwoofer to get. Option 1) PSI-8 on 650w RMS. Option 2) SA8V2 on 1000w RMS. Or option 3) Fi SSD 10 on 10002 RMS. All three will be in a 0.62 ft^3 tuned to 33 Hz. Here's a link to my photobucket of all three (together) in WinISD Pro: <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/mrazandrewm/embed/slideshow/"></iframe> The red is the PSI-8? Graphs look funky. Might need to tune that lower. Did you try that? I'm liking the way that SSD looks. Did you calculate Vd for that with the 12" PR? "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. I did try to tune it lower but I'm at the recommended bottom tuning frequency from PSI. I even rechecked the parameters of the driver to their website and everything matches. So IDK what is going on with that. I like how the SSD looks as well. The Vd of the SSD is 611 cm^3 (20 mm Xmax and 305.6 cm^2 Sd). The Vd for the 12" PR is 1866 cm^3 (38.1 mm Xmax and 490 cm^2 Sd). The ratio is 3:1 (PR to driver).
