sebringR/T
Looking at replacing the factory headunit in my 2010 Taurus. Came factory with Sync, navigation, Sony premium sound, and steering wheel controls. Looking at purchasing the Pioneer AVIC-X5000NEX. Tried talking to Crutchfield about everything and they can't give me any info on the Taurus with navigation because they don't have it researched. Looking to keep my factory options and with the AVIC-X5000NEX it says that all I should need is the iDatalink Maestro in order to keep my steering wheel controls and Sync capabilities. My question is, since the receiver I'm looking at already has built in navigation, does the fact that the car came with factory navigation matter? I'm just trying to make sure that I get everything covered first before I drop this amount of cash on replacing the HU and so it doesn't become a huge headache. Any help is appreciated.
