Yellow1000
This is not a versus thread. Just need some suggestions here. I built a t lime for my old power hx2 10. Found out I have one fried coil on it. It kind of pissed me off lol so time for a new sub. Suggestions on a newer sub that's equal to it and not crazy high priced ? 10 or 12 not sure yet. Looking for something I can hit around the 130s with in a Ford Escape. I know there's a lot of variables in doing that but you all get the idea. mrazandrewm
Why not just get it reconed by fixmyspeaker.com? They can increase the power handling a bit on your sub so you don't fry a coil on it. Yellow1000
The amp I have is a rockford p1000. As far as budget goes, 2-300 bucks is about right for now. I even considered buying a used w7 locally. But I have no experience with them. Am I asking to much output for the money I am looking to spend lol ? mrazandrewm
Anything RainStryke said in the 200-300 list. What else are you looking to get out of this besides 130s in music? I would also add Fi Q and Fi SSD subs to that list as well.
