Ricky Reboot Dean Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 So I am an audio addict. I admit it, anyways, I have a ghetto set up with a 12" and a 10" sub. I have it on a PC power supply, ya.... its not working too well anymore. I heard about in home converters that chance a standard wall outlet to 12V DC current. Is this true? And if so can someone link a site that ships to Canada. More importantly, also is being sold in Canada cause border customs suck. -other info.-PC power supply is 12V rated at like 14A so I am getting a lot less more closer to either the 8V on it or the 5V and it is not happy with my amps. Making the amps I have very shitty. Long story short, help?

ROLEXrifleman Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 you are going to be looking for what is known as an ac to dc converter. They are primarily used by HAM radio operators. The higher up in amperage you go the more expensive they get. look up Astron as they are the biggest producers of them. And don't get frustrated, after 10 years of looking for one I still haven't found one I was willing to pay for!! Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
