bigc91 Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Hey guys new to the forum. Just picked up an American Bass xfl 10 and wondering on a box for it? I can get a 1.5 cuft tuned to 35hz for $100 new would this be good for it or should i go bigger?? Thanks in advance...

Or you can take those box specs and model it up on winisd for a ball parks idea and see if the bandwidth/and or peak matches what you want in your application. As in checking air velocity/ in essence port area etc. & if 1.50 cu ft is the net volume of the box you need to account for sub displacement. Lots of variables, need more info.

Was wondering if it would sound good considering w7 is similar to the xfl. Port area is 1.5"×13". The only way I'd use that box is if it was free, and I'd only use it as long as it took me to get/build something better.
