Broke_Audio_Addict
I think you guys might not get what power on a sub in an enclosure means. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Broke_Audio_Addict
You're going to see a different amount of power at every single different frequency due to the impedance curve. At f3 the power will be the lowest due to being the highest impedance it also should be the lowest excursion but most output. Raptorman
Guys, the amp is not immune to impedance rise. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. Broke_Audio_Addict
Unless your chasing numbers don't worry about it man. Those w7's would love some more power though. noobslayer77
yea. i'm thinking a dc 3.5. why spend 800 dollars on hd1200 when i can get alot more for the same price. im pretty sure i have the electrical for it. i did see a used rockford 2500 for 800 on here, but i'm not a fan of the bass boost, sleek looking amp tho. 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited 2 13w7s skar 3500 cnf mids (soon) xs batteries
Broke_Audio_Addict
Don't use the bass boost then. That Rockford is probably the best 2500 watt amp you could buy. noobslayer77
think so? i like having the gain knob, thats why i was leanin towards the dc. i figured power at 1.5 ohm would probably be similar between the 2. that 2500 has always been my dream amp. 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited 2 13w7s skar 3500 cnf mids (soon) xs batteries
