EpicenterDesigns
The good news is that KP Componets makes a nice rear kit for that truck that rides great. The 6 link kit is basically bolt on. Weld in the notches and go. The front is a bag and cup set-up. My rough guess, to have a shop do it, $6k. I might be off though. As for difficulty......can you weld? Notches definatly need to be welded in. You need to raise the gas tank. Probally the tranny tunnel will need some work. Relocate some stuff under the hood for tire clearance depending on what size wheels you choose to use. Wiring up compressors, valves and plumbing the tanks to the bags. Extending the fuel lines and possibly the rear brake lines. Some electrical extensions for the tailllights and such. It's all the smaller overlooked stuff that ends up costing you due to time. sully
do not try to bag your truck yourself, if you have never done one it needs to be installed by someone with working knowledge of air suspension. That being said, call suicidedoors or kplinks and they will sell you everything you will need as a package, don't go cheap on compressors if you plan to play with it or you will be sitting waiting for your tank to fill up before you can raise it up enough to drive. Also be ware of cheap inferior products, places like airbagit, chassistech and what ever other name they use this week has awesome pricing but they use thinner metal and do not have good quality control. You can....and I wont touch it.... I Agree with Jon...I'd stay away from them...I have heard waaaaaaay to many horror stories about them...along with the fact that NOTHING they make has impressed me yet. Your best bet is to go to Suicide doors get the KP 6 link...1/2" air management starter kit, bags, cups, fittings, notch...and any other toys you are interested in...It will cost you roughly 3k even, with shipping for everything...but you will have a bulletproof setup. sully
www.suicidedoors.com !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are awesome, great customer service and a great product. You will get what you pay for so make sure it is right the first time. Warning: I had a friend use the air arms from airbagit and they were THIN walled crap that broke about a month after he installed them. I had the bag over struts on a car years ago before they were widely available and three of the four bags were defective when I first installed it. My opinion is they have absolutely no quality control.
