d-nice88
Ok guys got a question for you. My wife just told me she wants a lil bit of bass in the trunk. So im going to do the cheapest build ever. Going with 2 pyramid 10's 200 watts a piece a power acoustik amp 2 ch 200 each ch. With a belva amp kit. (Comes as a kit when u get the amp at sonic electronics) and ima make a sealed box for them. So my q is how do I wire it up and keep the factory radio and amp ? Comes with jbl system
SLYentist
tap into a speaker that is close to the amp location and use the hi-level inputs on the amp (hopefully it's got them). When doing this, though, you must make sure your crossovers and gain are set properly (preferably using a DD-1), so that the amp you install will coordinate with the output from the radio. Someone else might have different advice. Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.
