FiManic Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 I've searched this forum and google to find a legitimate answer, but only come up with the same quotations listed in the owners manual. "Peak light displays when the amplifier is reaching peak power output, light should only flash briefly, and for no longer than 2-3 seconds at a time" My question is: Is this a clip light? A pre clip light? Or exactly what is claims to be? "Showing when amp is near peak output" (which sounds like pre clip or clip, to me) I've done a ton of reading and research while installing this system and this is the last thing left to give me complete peace of mind. Short story: sub is getting hot after short playing time. (Fi bl 15 fully loaded) Long story: can be elaborated if some one wants to get that deep into it.
