lovellsz
Where you going to basic and AIT at? Basic isnt bad just pay attention and do what your told and it will be a breeze. AIT on the other hand is where in my case i saw a buch of soldiers loose there mind and all the disapline they learned in basic. Or at least thats how it was where i was. And when you get to AIT if you are a PT stud at basic you have to keep the same pace and work on your own at AIT because if you dont you wont maintain since they are really lax, And airborne is only 2 weeks long and from my friends who are back home they say it isnt that difficult. Whats your MOS you signed up for? Also the pics i would post would be of the T53-L-13B/703 the T701C I might have a pic of the T55-GA-714A and the old T-63. I also got a video of the T53 shooting flames out of it when we started it up. lovellsz
my contract said i would be gone for only 29 week too..... yesterday was week 38.... so dont trust that contract with your time you spend there. The army overbooks classes. And i just had a guy who friday left to airborne school it was in his contract as well and he waited for 4 weeks before they had his slot for airborne open since they overbooked it. And your contract says 3 weeks for the airborne training it actually is 14 days long. pstone11
Wow, I went to Air Force tech school over there at Ft. Eustis, back in 97. OK place, especially if you're in a different service. As for the engines, I've had plenty of experience with the t400, t700, t701c, T-56, T-64. All turboshaft for our helo's, and the lonely turboprop for the 130. Good luck, engine shop is a pretty dirty career, lots of hand and arm burns too.... Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
