OK quick and easy, I have my hands on 2 tantric sounds HD 12's and I'd like to get another 2. So far amp wise I have 3 us amps merlin md3d to power em. My question is, should I sell these 3 for.... 1. Taramps hd8000 2. Crescendo bd5500 These 2 come to mind because there RIGHT around the same wattage, unless I'm confusing it. This is all gonna go in a infinite baffle either Datsun s30 or the 1st gen rx7. Also what kind of power do I need to run either one? I'm think northstar agm sms400 Again thanks anybody!! Expierence with either amp helps loads

Personally, I would go for 2 amps depending on the coil configuration and do 2 subs per amp. noser7 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 I think I can wire all dual 2 subs to a 1 ohm load, which is great. I wouldn't mind 2 amps, but amps are EXPENSIVE and is like to just get 1 for all four that way I have some cash for some midbass midrange and highs!!! Damn tired of just hearing BOOM BOOM BOOOOOOOM BOOM BOOM
