Ive got the bed-liner on the inside of the port drying while i work on some bracing.

marking out the place for the removable port while i smell the sweet smell of bedliner

Cut it out with a sawzall, dont worry my shitty cut will be covered up by a much nicer looking straight cut.

this is where i left off yesterday. I have to go and pickup some nuts and washer for the bracing.

Trust me, im little fish in a big pond when it comes to car audio, and especially compared to some of the amazing builds on this forum.

Here's the bracing all done

388A8254-0A93-406C-A011-48A3B77EAFD7.jpg

B190008C-AA32-4B70-8897-689A1A0109EF.jpg

got the top all glued on

04A9EF71-9766-4C8B-A695-29599F8FB533.jpg

cut the board out for the port and used some expanding foam to fill any gaps

4300DE46-5DC3-4148-BE2C-11C668D19039.jpg

bedliner because i dont want any leakage

C99C0920-80CD-45F2-A566-6C23E9DFA21C.jpg

liquid nail on the front

A5B853EE-B3B6-4440-A5E4-571CF3F99801.jpg

and then bedliner to hopefully 100% seal it off

37AAD0DA-85C6-410D-8DCA-D58AD6CE5523.jpg

the bracing from top to bottom (one run on the left side and one run on the right side)

070499E7-02FB-41A2-990E-1CC35026C4C8.jpg

I put an actual shit load of liquid nail between the washer and wood for sealing/vibration purposes but........bedliner

7F3E4DA5-2797-4483-8ED8-322699EA8038.jpg

few layers of primer

5BCC6646-F482-4E10-921A-BA9FC8019281.jpg

the top and port are candy red, the sides and bottom will be black carpet. Should look good while also matching the color scheme of my jeep.

Thats where i stopped for today, should be playing here soon.

Hahah. I hear you man. My truck is my stereo unit though. Thinking of doing an 8 15 wall. The Jeep is just an offroad toy, so it needs room for spare tools and parts. lol. New box looks good with the paint!

Thanks man! That truck sounds brutal. I try and not let my jeep be too much of a pavement queen, but it's my daily driver so nothing to stupid gets done in it lol.
