Used factory camera from my Camaro and Alpine INE-W957HD head unit, head unit knows when the car goes in reverse but camera doesn't auto display on the screen, it will only display if my head unit is in camera setting guide adjust mode. Any help guys? Also using the Backupcam-2 Adapter by metra. Speed sense wire from backupcam-2 adapter is connected to (violet/white) - reverse light wire on wiring harness, had it connected to orange - reverse light wire directly to head unit, same thing.
SIDE SHOW Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 check the screen doesn't have a setting for auto reverse camera or something..... easier to just try and ring alpine, may have something todo with the adapter.
