Honda CRX electrical help

I have a 89 Honda crx. I will be running a couple of Sundown Sa15's powered by JBL 2400.1. I will be running it @ 4ohms. around 1700 watts. I'm new to the Honda game and really don't know what the electrical system is capable of. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

oh. well, i ran 1500 watts and a 50x4 of a stock alt in my 89 accord. 65amp alt. 2 group 34'agm batteries.

It would drop into the low 12's and sometimes into the 11's at idle.

I could only find a 160 amp alt from mechman and 180 from DC. So i bought an "S" class 240amp from mechman and made a bracket.

I would at least see if someone can make a 180 amp alt and get a least one good AGM battery. Maybe 2.

Do the Big 3, and you should be good.

Yes I did the big three. I have a local source that has a pile of warehouse battery's at my disposal. Looks like i'm in the market for an alternator. One more question did you have to bypass your ELD?

Ok. i just purchased the car and like I said I really do know much about it yet. I have seen the ELD discussion in forums and just assumed my had one. Works for me. I really wasn't looking foward to flipping a switch everytime I go full tilt!
