Doing this right? 10x crossover and super tweeter.

Using an amp with a 10x crossover, such as the Crescendo s800/4, I can use that crossover setting to wire tweeters directly to the amp with out the need of any thing else in between?

I have also noticed that the PRV super tweeter has what looks like a capacitor soldered to the positive terminal of the speaker.(Unsure of what that does, assuming it cuts out lower frequencies)

I am assuming that I can wire the tweeter to the amp with the crossover set to highpass 5khz and disregard the (what looks like a capacitor) on the PRV super tweeter.

Does this sound right, or do I just look like an idiot?

PRV recommends crossover at 5k but says the tweeter will play 3k up. Will play around with setting once everything is hooked up and playing. Just wanted to make sure I was on the right track, I was just sitting here second guessing myself and needed to ask to make sure I some what know what im doing.
