im45pl Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Just throwing this out there, after speaking to mike singer it looks like the biggest alt for my van i can get is going to 250 amps. While probably ok for driving around at low volumes i need to come up with a solution for long demo sessions at shows, so something that can plug into mains power (240 volt) i have found some big power supplies but as the are just a power supply i am guessing they will fuck up my batteries pretty quick. so what options are there, or am i looking at running multiple smaller charger like the xs power 60 amp unit? rest of the electrical at this stage is 12 x agm group 31 batteries and maybe adding another 6 later on... running 4 dc 5.0k and around 2k of front stage are lithium ion batteries an option at all for this? at least from a fast charging point of view i can run them down then charge them quick and demo again... just thinking out loud on that one cheers TEAM DC AUSTRALIA My_Build_Log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
