What you put in will not have the same amount of force (current) after it travels so far. So with the line driver at the amp, if it recieves a crappy signal at the end it will amplify a crappy signal. VS being at the starting piont and applying more force to push the signal to the amp. I just have a crappy set of circumstances to deal with. Thats why I was wondering how bad it would be to mount it near the amp.
