Bagging a 2008 Dodge Magnum

So I am a total novice to bagging or dropping a car or truck. Lifting a truck done, fine no problems but never messed with doing a body or suspension drop. I not scared of fabrication work but to be honest in a truck I didn't give a shit about hacking the frame and putting in some steel tube...with a unibody I am more cautious.

I was wondering how to go about it and what is the typical cost. Since its a car I don't have a ton of room for compressors and everything but I think I would have enough room to run one and maybe a ridetech suspension setup.

I want to be able to take the car to the dragstrip though so I don't want something that will hinder that or make it unsafe at higher speeds.

Feel free to tell me not to do it based on the above I am just wondering what I would need and would it be decent for the application. Another caveat...its my daily driver.

Also do you guys recommend some reading to figure this shit out? Like I said total novice to this subject.
