beanbo12 Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 I will be the owner of a sundown audio sa15 d2 this week and was wondering if the massive audio n3 will be enough to power this bad boy. If anyone has had any expeirnce with the amp input would be greatly appreciated. If there is a better amp in the same price range and 1ohm stable between 200 and 250 please point me in the right direction. What really pulls me in is the size and power output of the n3 A little bit of specs. Peak power 2800x1 / RMS power 1400x1@1ohm / RMS power 700x1@2ohm Min Impedance 1-ohm Max voltage 15v Max RCA voltage 5v

LemonyGuy Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Rockford fosgate prime amps are great deals, soundqubed amps, crescendo amps, they are a couple other good budget friendly amps but I can't remember them. Pick which one looks the coolest cause all the amps I listed do rated.

LemonyGuy Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Depends on if you got a good sized stock alternator. Look that up for your vehicle and come back and tell us how many amps the alt is rated for. Probably could get away with just a bigger battery up front and the big 3 done.

LemonyGuy Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 I ran a fosgate prime amp that put out 600 according to the birthsheet on a 105amp alt with the big 3 done and a nice agm up front. Voltage drop was never bad even when I was pushing it at idle. Your Pry goood to go if you only want to push 600.

I would like to get the most out of the amp and sub. I was looking at the xs power 4800 battery(specific for my vehicle by their website) and doing the big 3 with ofc. Maby later down the road a 200 amp alt.
