micker Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 ok here is what i have a pioneer 2ch 60rms @4 75@2 amp kicker 2ch 75@4 100@2 amp some chines 500w clames 75rms @4 150rms @2 and my doors already have dynamat looking at 2 sets kicker ds65.2 2 8" slime line kicker subs all in door so i will have 1x 8" slim line and 2 6.5 comps in each door the 2 sets of comps are $100 new on sale so all up $250 looking at running the the subs @2 ohm on kicker amp with the 2 comps on chinese so 100rms to subs and 75rms to each comp or 50rms to each comp and 75rms to subs if i pioneer amp subs and kicker to comps or do you have any other recomadions for getting loud on 2 doors only thanks mick

Gets done a lot on builds, you just need to know how to crossover the speakers and tune everything so it sounds good. What vehicle? What HU you running? Are you door fiber glassed already?
micker Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Posted March 10, 2015 90 Toyota pickup Doing laser cut alloy door cards with rivnuts to hold them on the car gets wet all the time that's why I'm going cheep on the speakers incase they get wet No glass in doors just dynamat And under sink weather strip behind the 1/4" alloy plate to seal it to door H/h is a pioneer double din it's a 2650 with 2v prep outs Not the best h/u for sound quality and adjustment but was in my price bracket and came with reverse cam and Bluetooth witch I wanted For a price I was will to pay I've never herd the ds range and my local shop sells them but no test ones to lission to Ive her the ks and have the qs in another ride So I'm hoping there like the ks but with a bit more lowend as there are designed for stock replacment setup
