Port Help Please

Ok, say specs on a sub says 3.5cf and port should be 3" wide 12" tall and 14" deep. if you build enclosure 7cf for two subs in a common enclosure do you make the port 6"x12"x14"? if not how do you figure what size the port should be.

thats not really how it works...but in this case, you can get away with it...

If you keep the same length the tuning will be lower. To use the 6x12 port the length would need to be around 12" long to keep the same tuning as the original port.

thanks. i cant get on kickers tech support on this computer right now. can someone tell me what size port to use on 2 2007 L7 12's if you use there specs but double the airspace
