Colin - STAPUFT
Shrink the port area and/or lengthen the port. Smaller Port and Longer Port = Lower tune (given same size internal volume of enclosure). There is no free lunch though: Too long a port begins to change the delay or speed (I guess) of the box. (phasing- will you notice? Doubtful- only in extreme cases and dependent on application). At given frequencies (higher ones)- output will lessen. Also you *can* get port noise *if* the port becomes too small. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. Colin - STAPUFT
Question: What vehicle is this going in? Cabin gain will help you at lower frequencies- depending on vehicle and application. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain.
