Retnuhbackwords
So today while on my way to work I was jamming out and decided to stop at a gas station for a drink. When I got back in my truck I noticed my sub wasn't working! When I got to work I hopped out an looked at everything and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. My amp was getting power, all the wires were hooked up. Just didn't wanna play. So when I got home I looked at everything again and this time I saw my amp wasnt getting power! So I'm stumped! Any help is appreciated! islandpride684
damn bro, so many factors...well, first check all your fuses, then check all your connections to make sure nothing came loose, then check if you're getting power to the amp with a DMM...ie: remote wire and power wire...make sure your grounds are good to..let us know how it checked out... Retnuhbackwords
I think it's gonna be a fuse. Gonna check it as soon as I can. Might want to double check your remote wire and see if your amp is getting enough of a signal to tell it to turn on. firebirdude
Grab a meter and test for +12V at the amp's BAT and REM. You using those glass AGU fuses under the hood? They like to fail without actually looking blown. The solder on the endcaps melts and creates a poor connection. +12V in one side and like ~2V out. It's the reason the entire industry is moving to the mini ANL design. One stamped piece of metal.
