LemonyGuy
I found this website with a way to make a large case fit on a shitbox 01 malibu like mine. What are the opinions on this for a low cost way to get a little more power out of my alt for not much more than stock? It was on alternatorparts under malibu alternator upgrade, if my phone would let me paste I would but Googling that should get you there. Also they have multiple rectifier options, which is best for me?It's basically a way to take the stock alt which is a cs130d I guess and convert to an ad244 Got on my computer, this is the link to the site page where they sell the kit and alt to convert my mally to a something better. http://alternatorparts.com/ad230-ad244-series-high-output-alternators.html

LemonyGuy
My stock alt just went out, at cruising rpms the stock did fine but at idle I was lacking. I read that swapping gets better idle amps.
