Miguels Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 If the Durango has full frame I wouldn't. Just ground front battery to a sanded part of the frame then the same for the rear. The extra ground runs are a preference but if you run them make sure you ground the amps to the batteries. If the frame is not grounded to the batteries and you ground amps to the frame you will have issues. If I'm correct the negative side is the return path so you have to ground the frame if you ground the amps to it my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
cocoleveo7686 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 U need to fuse the wire from front to back 12 in from battery. some people fuse in front and back for there power runs. I would do another run of 1/0 ofc but that is me I'm running over 5k soon to be 6k on 3 runs of 1/0 SHCA ofc . Did u do the big 4. Do u have good solid grounds? i do have big 3 upgraded. I am running cca wire, not ofc as i was told it doesnt make a huge diff maybe .10 volts. I can try another run of 0 gauge. I will also take a pic of where i grounded it
