Looks like 1500w per sub, 3,000w is what he is going to get if he can maintain 14v while both amps are pulling power, but that is not going to happen on a 105A stock alternator is what they are saying. You need something like a 260A alternator to maintain a system like that. You will need a lot more than just an extra battery to supply the juice you need for a system like that. Instead of putting more money into wiring, you need to start looking around for a quality high output alternator.

Not going to happen even with a million amp alternator.

Apparently people have a hard time wrapping their minds around the fact that you almost never see rated power and even if you did your sub is just dissapating most of it as heat anyways.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Yeah, the OP will need to look at impedance rise.

My question has been what size alternator should I get! Something to maintain a 4kw setup. Not saying that's what it does or will do. But want it stronger to support upgrades later.

To avoid further frustration, you should get quotes from HO Alternator sites like these:

http://singeralternators.com/

http://www.mechman.com/

https://www.dcpowerinc.com/

You tell them what you've got and if they have a HO Alternator that fits your vehicle, they will suggest a size.
