Need some help, GM data bus

For all of you 2001-ish up GM owners, the data bus interface through my 2003 Tahoe's stock radio, I bought the PAC OS-2x to retain that without receiving warning messages constantly. But i didn't think to ask before buying it if there's a different/better way, and I haven't seen anything about it in any of the builds I've checked out. What have you guys done to bypass the issue of your vehicle with the class II data bus thinking its fubar? Thanks
