YukonDCXL Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 I hooked up red, black and white to my deck and ran the grey wire to amps speaker + (bass amp) I tuned with dd1 but the om-1 just cycles the lights from left to right and nothing changes when I turn the adjustment on the back. What am I doing wrong?
YukonDCXL Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 When I press pause the lights stop moving
YukonDCXL Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 I put white on deck red, red on orange, black on black, grey on amp speaker +
YukonDCXL Posted April 24, 2015 Author Report Posted April 24, 2015 Problem solved. Looked at a wire diagram that said orange was constant when it is actually illumination
hdorre Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Connect the BLACK wire to ground. Connect the RED wire to constant battery voltage. (Acceptable range is 8V – 28V) Why not? Connect the White wire to switched voltage. (Acceptable range is 3V – 28V) Connect the GREY wire to (+) speaker signal wire of your amplifier, or to the speaker itself. Note: If you are trying to connect to the right channel of a 2 or more channel amplifier you may have to connect it to the (-) speaker output instead.
