Safe crossover ranges for midwoofer/tweeters

Mezzos are not a Midwoofer they are a midrange you may want to try 100hz on them. What woofer set up do you have? If you are looking for a Midwoofer look at JL Audio ZR series.

You know of any good cheaper options besides that zr series I could use for testing I never owned a midbass driver I always only had component sets.

The Mezzo comps are decent. I am assuming you are actively bi-amping like I did. The mezzo woofer can handle down to 45hz according to the Crescendo website. And the tweeter should be crossed over at about 4k Hz according the Crescendo customer service.

There are so many variables for there to be a best set point

I just test, and test but start somewhere around

On 2 ways mid hp 80-150hz Lp3.5-5khz

Tweeter hp 3.5-5khz

On 3ways midwoofer hp80-125hz lp300-320hz

Mid hp 300-320 lp3.5-5khz

Tweeter hp 3.5-5khz

And my subs are normal lp somewhere between 70-125hz depending on type and install
