Andrew Storlie
a 960 wont use 4gb... to be honest youd be better off spending just a little more and getting a 970. unless your running just a single 1080p screen and only run mmo games, a 960 wont keep up. its only made to be a better solution then integrated graphics. edit: i have a 750ti 2gb edition in my media pc which is running 2-1080p sceens and when im gaming on one of them, i never hit 2 gb, its a slower gpu then the 960 but it uses the same 128bit bus. hifonix
You would prefer to have 256 bit. What resolution are you running and are you using multiple monitors? Under Construction

hifonix
Single monitor the 960 will be fine you "shouldn't" bottle neck the video card, however the 970 is the better choice if your power supply can run it. I don't ever recommend the low model video card as most people would just be disappointed by its performance. Looking at your pc specs and what the 970 requires I think the 960 would be the safest choice without upgrading other components of the pc. 970 says it will use up to 225 watts 960 says up to 120 watts You having a 550 watt psu I would stay away from a video card that wants half of the total power you have.
