BassJeep
I have a Fi sp4 18 and an AQ3500. Right now I have a ported box tuned at 30hz and it sounds good, but I'm looking to change it up. If anybody is interested in helping me out i would like to do a 4th order wall. I normally would do this myself, but having no experience with 4th orders I would like to get it right the first time. From what I've been told the best ratio for these is about 3 sealed and 9-10 ported. Any help is greatly appreciated. The wall will be in a 99 jeep wrangler

db_speakerbox
I didn't even know there was such a section. I rarely get out of the build section lol. Since a thread wasn't created in there yet I'll go ahead and post here. There is no best ratio. Ratio will determine gain and bandwidth. The higher the ratio, the higher the gain but at the expense of bandwidth. That being said, what type of music do you listen to? What band of frequencies are most important? What is your goal? That needs to be answered before you make any kind of design.
