Patrick Saxon Posted May 26, 2015 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 getting ready for a new build in my new 01 gmc sierra 3500 dually im going with a ported blowthrough built by my local reputable box builder i last was running 2 lvl4 18 m2s on a 3.5k .i have a chance to grab a 5k for a deal from my box guy hes sayin the lvl4s will be fine on 5k all day im not such a firm beliver in that. I think a 3.5k is enough for lvl4s and xls pair well with a 5k or am i wrong and should i pound those lvl4 s on that 5k any input helps thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it were me, I'd wire to 1ohm, Build it a little smaller box for the extra power, set gains properly, watch voltage, and let er go. Im sure you'll have a little rise. If anything, you can throw more subs on the amp, and change things around.
