hi guys,

i'm pretty new to all this and kind of clueless. the setup i have is small its 2 subs ran off a 1500w amp. the amp is bolted to the back of the sub box. this means that the amp is wedged between my back seat and the sub box so the amp gets extremely warm, that is why i was moving it. but after i moved it and hooked it all back up the amp wasn't sending any sound to the subs, the amp was getting power but as i turned up the volume or adjusted the bass on my radio the light on the amp changed from green to red, have i fried the internals of my amp? could it be wired to the subs wrong? im lost and tried everything i know, has this ever happened to any of you guys or does anyone know how to resolve this?

Sounds like you wired it back up wrong

Yeah, pictures would help. It does sound like a RCA issue if the amplifier is getting power. Sometimes when moving stuff a wire can get snagged and pull out of the back of the head unit. Depends on how you did your wire management.
