beanbo12
Got a newb question. Just got a explorer the other day and want to run some power and grounds. I want to do 2 runs of each positive and ground 0 gauge each to the back so I won't have to do it all over again when I upgrade to batts in the rear. Now my question can I use the ground. From my front Batt to my amp. I thought I read you would want the ground as short as possible. Or should I run it to the frame untile I get batts in the rear. Lbox88
Take a multimeter and test to find a good ground in the back. I did the whole front to back ground before, it really does make a big difference having a real ground in back instead. UBL | Build Log
beanbo12
So your saying its better to have the ground in the back with the amps than the front to back method. When I get batts what would be the best way (grounding) From front batt to back batt or frame in back to back batt.
