MusicHead804 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I've always wanted to get a eq for my setup but some people told me no don't get one some told me yeah get. I'm just confused on the purpose of what they do, and I was wondering can I get some opinions and advice on getting one...

It will boost and attenuate frequencies to counteract not enough of one frequency range, or too much of another.
