Csprak1990
Does the signal to noise ratio on amps a significant statistic to consider when looking at what amps to get?
Skullz
Signal to noise, Channel Seperation, THD, IM distortion, Dynamic Headroom, Damping factor and a whole host of others can tell you how well an amplifier was built. The biggest thing is who the manufacturer is that will be the determining factor, those companies that are known for cheaply made equipment will have weaker stats along with sub par parts inside of them, where as the better companies will have better parts and overall better stats. The best companies will match their output numbers throughout the range of distortion and not vary by much as has been proven by amp dyno results of old school equipment. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
