Electromotive Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 I'm looking at running a SPAL fan VA18-AP71/LL-59A, the current rating is around 21 amps. Will I be able to use the TM-1 as a controller?
audiofanaticz Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 No, it has a 5amp rating, and running it off a relay also will not work because the TM-1 operates off of PWM (pulse width modulation) switching, so it would just keep turning your relay off/on really fast.
