Jordan Thurston
Been looking at a few installs on here and I kinda want to put some mid bass in my kicks up front but never worked with fiberglass so not sure how to go about making kick pods. Is it even worth trying?
Jordan Thurston
Think I wanna try and put some type of speaker in this area thinking maybe a 5.75 component this is a 6.5 speaker. I wanna try and make a fiberglass box the trim panel comes out so I'm gunna give it a try
bcbrassard
Dont you have rear deck speakers now. More or better speakers up front would be better. Not in the rear but thats My opinion.
Jordan Thurston
I do have 6x9s in the rear now I want to put more up front but don't really wanna mess up my door panels and I don't think I can get anything in the kicks because of my parking brake and my hood latch
RainStryke
Looks good man. I always wanted to get one of those Alpine MRX-240's when I had my HDS312's. I bet those sound really good on that amp.
bcbrassard
I understand what your going for. A loud system and if you want to add more speakers in the rear that's cool. Most of us find out its about imaging and front stage sound with possible some rear fill for the best all around sound system. Bummer you don't have room in your kick panels because that's a better option than the rear. Next best would be better door speakers and more power. Most started with coaxes and went to comps passive then comps active. Even 3-way up front. What ever you do is cool. Deadening and install brings speakers to life and is always worth the time. Tuned in!
Stephen13
Could you share the necessary steps for removing the front door trim panels? A friend of mine has a '12 Impala and wants to install new door speakers. Thanks. 2011 Chevy Silverado LT 5.3L 4x4 Ext.-cab "Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think."
