pavelpardo
I need some help designing a box for my Sundown x-15 D2. This is my first big(ish) build I have done and I want to get the maximum SPL output from my sub. I will be using a rockford t1500bdcp to power the sub. Stock alt. secondary battery is the only electrical upgrade. My max dimension are 16.5" H x 32" W x 17" D. The vehicle is a 2010 Dodge Charger. Should I face the sub towards the trunk or cabin?? I can pay for the design if needed, just not an arm and leg for one.
Joe X
So here is something on the smaller side, if you have taken all width and height fire everything forward and seal off , power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 4 3/8", figure is just an assembly guide: NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside. pavelpardo
Did a cart board template and the box will not fit in the trunk. What's my next option Joe????
Joe X
You may want to see if the box can get in by removing the backseats, if not build inside. You can still keep testing sets of dimensions to see what can be fit if you don't want to build inside.

Joe X
Kreg jig, and building all you can outside among others, also the cutsheet can be changed so that it's easier to build inside, I would recommend only doing this as a last resort.
