All I know is I have an amp with more than enough power to the 165XL set currently installed and it sounds great. The HL70 comes with the HSK163 3-way kit and it doesn't have anything extra that I can see so figured the HL70 would be compatible. The factory 3.5 in dash need to be replaced.
SIDE SHOW Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 the three way kit as a 3way passive crossover instead of the 2 way crossover your set currently has, the crossover seperates the frequencys to the correct speaker (eg the tweeter plays the highs ect)
