Using a hatch as a loading chamber even in a low tuned application works to your benefit if done right. I wish more people would realize that before they go building walls their entire life. It's not going to move now, the whole thing has been deadened and filled and is at least three times heavier.

You know i was thinking the same shit, i don't want to build a wall because that shit sucks for daily driving, and i really don't have to much time working on so many cars, i was also thinking of doing the same style or even have the woofers firing foward, port back, what ya think?

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D

I like to try different port areas and tuning very quickly and box also allows me to do that. Depending on how you set a wall up it is more perm. and usually a huge pain in the ass to change.

Providing that you don't mind having some small phasing issues that configuration is usually very effective for low frequencies. Everytime I have done it, it works damn well.

Thanks for the box pics, I will be starting my build for my 18's this month, I got an Acura Integra, and was thinking to build that style box, except mine will be between 10-12 cubes internal, gotta see what will fit and HOW it will fit in there.

Love your vids, keep it up
