ILuvJDM Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Looking for ideas to get this hot side terminal covered. It's directly next to my oil dipstick and when you check the oil you get dangerously close. Also, I wear a watch so checking the oil could cause a nice little zap if I'm not paying attention. Any ideas for a rubber cover?
Skullz Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Plasti-dip would be the go to choice for covering it up, i would get the liquid form and not the spray can, and use something below it to catch any drips that will fall down. http://www.lowes.com/pd_42518-61158-11603-6_0__?productId=3543512&store_code=1074&cm_mmc=SCE_PLA-_-Paint-_-SprayPaint-_-3543512:Plasti_Dip&CAWELAID=&kpid=3543512&CAWELAID=1368129032&k_clickID=70218560-fda7-4b16-9c37-a88fc711e9a9&kpid=3543512 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
ILuvJDM Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Posted July 27, 2015 I like factory looking stuff, I found this but shipping is $6.00 on a $0.99 part. I was wondering if any stores would have these locally like a Grainger or electrical house? http://www.impulseelectronics.com/battery-terminal-boot-for-bolt-terminal-or-alternator/
