reedal
You don't need any bass restoration or enhancers of any kind for metal. I listen to metal, rap, country, alternative, classic rock, and other genres/music I find to my liking and I have zero issues with bass through my subs on any of them. MADVIBES
as far as affordable head units go I have a top of the line jvc with the 24 bit burr brown d/a coverters. sounds really good for a deck that cost 150. my car can hit near 157 db at 30 hz and it doesnt skip. Any good head unit would negate the purpose of the bass resto anyway.
