piccolo
I have 4 JL audio 12w6's and 2 apmi 2000 watt amps. I want to build a ported box for all four subs and need help on a design. i don't have a huge preference on which way the subs are facing or which way the port is facing. I am however driving a 2002 Lexus is300 wagon so my car is a little narrow no more than 42" from side to side by the wheel wells but it flares out wider as you go to the rear hatch if that matters for the design. diegoclass2010
are you gonna build inside the trunk?
piccolo
As of right now I have taken the two back pillars off and the rear speakers out so it is very bare back there. What do you mean by build inside the trunk like actually assemble the box inside the trunk?
piccolo
Ok so sorry for not doing more research first I have some questions. I have some deminsions I am thinking about a box that is 16" tall 28" wide and 34" deep which gives me 6.3 ft of air space. I used the Torres tuning calculator and calculated a port of 4" by 16" by 18" for a 32.07 hz. Any ideas or input on what I have so far would be greatly appreciated.
