TezasBassBox Posted August 12, 2015 Report Posted August 12, 2015 Im thinking of getting another xs agm. I will bee charging them with the cs144 alternator that has a 14.7 charging set point. Just wondering if this is too much for the agm batts. All said and done i will use one battery for starting and one for the amp. Thanks! Subs don't hit when powered by cheap amps!
Miguels Posted August 12, 2015 Report Posted August 12, 2015 If you want the batteries to last a very long time set it at 13.8 volts. They should take that voltage but you will be taking from its life expectancy my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
TezasBassBox Posted August 12, 2015 Author Report Posted August 12, 2015 Ok that sounds good i will need to get the adjustable voltage regulator. Guess I'll look around and see if i can find one in stock. I'm all for the batts lasting longer. Subs don't hit when powered by cheap amps!
