Lakeshow94
Kenwoods are usually alright. Due to age of swap them anyways. How do you have your settings?(such as bass, treble,eq settings, bass boost, loudness) first, my amp didnt come with a bass knob so i have to use the setting on the headunit sub lvl:15 bass:0 mid:0 treble:0 bass boost:0 loudness:1 I've messed with the settings a bunch but I cant really do anything with them because my speakers will keep disorting no matter what i do on the settings Do you have a dd-1? My head unit is a kdc x497 and it starts to clip around +11 sub volume no matter the volume. Id adjust your sub level down and increase your gain accordingly. 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.

I dont have a dd1 but was probably going to buy an inexpensive oscilloscope to tune it better
Lakeshow94
the headunit clips at +11 sub level. as soon as it hits +11 it clips at volume of 1. so I made my max gain +9 on the head unit. 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
