catch 22 Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 It's it a good idea to run the sax200.4@ 2ohms? I plan on running two sets of mids on 3/4 and two sets of tweets on 1/2. Any problems with heat, distortion, reliability at 2 ohms? Thanks. Quote
Miguels Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 It's capable of been wired to 1ohm.. So yes it's safe to wire at 2 ohms. It will be closer to the 450 watts per channel Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
catch 22 Posted September 18, 2015 Author Report Posted September 18, 2015 Currently I'm running two sets of tweets on a fosgate t600-4 and two sets of mids on a t600-2. Thinking bout switching out the power amps for a sax200.4 so I have Matching sundown amps and more headroom. But If I keep the power amps then I will have to sell my scv3k and get a 2500bdcp so I'll have all Rockford Thoughts? Quote
