snafu Posted September 16, 2015 Report Share Posted September 16, 2015 Hmmm . . . two amps per woofer is a recipe for blown woofers. Unless you're trying to compete in some class that has a limitation on the number / size of woofers you can run, I'd recommend avoiding that altogether. Two voice coils have only so much copper to dissipate heat. Let's say that a given woofer is 5% efficient (high actually) at converting amplifier power to acoustic energy (this is why they call speakers transducers).
