two amps one subwoofer

Whattt?I plan on buying a recone kit but what ohm should i get?plus i plan on getting one more dcxl.should i get both dual 1ohm or dual 2ohm what would work for two dc2ks? I plan on getting a dcxl15 and a recone by the end of this year.i'm saving up.

Hmmm . . . two amps per woofer is a recipe for blown woofers. Unless you're trying to compete in some class that has a limitation on the number / size of woofers you can run, I'd recommend avoiding that altogether.

Two voice coils have only so much copper to dissipate heat. Let's say that a given woofer is 5% efficient (high actually) at converting amplifier power to acoustic energy (this is why they call speakers transducers). That means that 95% of the amplifier power is wasted as heat which has to be managed by the voice coil, dissipated into the former and cone, etc.
